• Tables are constructed entirely of standard XPress elements (boxes, lines) and styles. Apply any colours, shading, frame styles, text formatting available in XPress. Use any or all of the standard XPress controls on your tables.
• Shade and colour alternate rows and/or columns; add lines to delineate headers, between rows and columns, or around the whole table; frame all or selected cells. Apply multiple line "style sheets" to a single table. "Attach" lines, text or graphics boxes anywhere on your table; they will align to cell corners and re-size along with the rest of the table.
• You don't have to make style or formatting changes one cell at a time…apply any box or text style or format changes to selected table rows, columns, cell groups, or the entire table.
• Use standard clipboard Cut/Copy/Paste functions on table rows or columns. Copy and paste the table structure itself, or just the cell text.
• Tableworks Plus can manage multi-page tables, with page breaks dynamically reset after all editing changes. You can even drag a table row to a different page.
• Drag/drop table rows or columns, between tables or within a single table.
• Slant any row or column, to any angle between -45° and 45°; uses the new XPress 3.3 "polygon" text box feature.
• "Justify" column spacing across the table, to equalize the space between horizontal text spans.
